Retrofitting & Modifications to Existing Concrete Tanks
 |
| Retrofitting a new sump and pipe into an existing tank. |
There are instances when an existing tank may require the addition of a pipe, baffle wall, hatch or liquid level indicator or you may feel the need to make the tank more secure. These are common services offered by CECS. Pipes can be installed under the existing floor, through a wall or into the dome. The use of CMU baffle walls or polypropylene baffle curtains can be retrofitted to existing tanks to increase detention time or eliminate short circuiting within the tank. Hatches can be replaced with fiberglass or stainless steel ones. Hatch openings can be enlarged for easier tank access. Fiberglass liquid level indicators can be replaced or added to your tank.
We offer a line of security cages and ladder climbing devices that can make your tank safer or more secure. Please contact us so we can discuss similar jobs we have completed or help you solve a problem you are facing.
